9 Tails

Well I haven't drawn in a long while and this was something I doodled...which then turned into a colored doodle! I guess I ain't too bad myself for not having touched my tablet since...a few months.

Anyway, I had no intention of drawing a 9-tailed fox demon... (kitsune?). It just sorta came out. But it worked out too seeing as a friend of mine requested that I make him a wallpaper of a girl with green eyes. I owed it to him since...senior year (meaning that it's been 2-3 years). And only now I've actually fulfilled my promise to him.

So I'm really guilty for making him wait that long. D; And I'm actually pretty nervous for giving this to him since...I made him wait. But the task has been done and hopefully he likes it and actually uses it. ;w;

Regarding the technicality of this illustration, I wanted to try a very supernatural tone. I think the color purple represents that which was why I used that...but it also made me think of night time. Night time is when ghosts and spirits are more "alive" right? Haha...so that was what I thought.

I heard that 9 tailed foxes give bad luck if your touch their tails....but I'm not sure. Or maybe it was good luck if you touched their tails. The first time I heard of it was from an old childhood friend. We were playing pokemon (the trading card game) during the time. Good ol' days.
